So, I am an experienced fly fisherman (lived out west for a while), but i really do not know much about the waters of the ozarks. My spring break is coming up (march 5-10), and I have got to feed the addiction and rip some lips!!! I was thinking about heading over to arkansas, and trying to hit the white, little red, and maybe sylamore creek. I don't have a boat, so my fishing is limited to wading at different public access points. So I guess what i really need help with is just trying to figure out the best public access points. I was thinking about camping near mtn view, and trying out Sylamore creek and the white river. And then maybe on my way back to memphis, stopping at the little red for a day or so. So.....Is there any good public access points for Sylamore? Is the north or south fork better, or do they both hold good numbers? Public access for wading on the White??
Thanks in advance!! And if anybody needs a fishing buddy while i am up there (prob march 5-9), i'll supply the post-river beers!!! And yes, like i said i am experienced, so you don't need to worry about putting up with a rookie all day!!
Tight lines!!
