Had decided to put the boat in and fish the Norfork down from the dam but, when I got to the campground found out the boat ramp was closed as they were paving
the "new" parking lot. When given lemons make lemon aid. Put in at the confluence and went up past the bridge and started drifting. Got into fish
immediately. Wind starts blowing me up river that pretty much ended that. Can't drift? Get out and wade. Got his guy my second cast. Couple of more bumps
more wind let's move.
Headed up the Fork wind is coming straight up behind me. Move again down past confluence. Found a new "stream" that is dry land when the water is down. It was loaded with fish. Decided to call it a day. Probably won't fish tomorrow. Prediction for Monday has the Fork running most of the day. Jack is coming in Sunday we might try Rim Tuesday.
