Got out with Ben from LA and Stu from St. Louis for a guide trip Tuesday. RAIN was the theme of the day. We were rained on all day with about a 30 minute break. It was crazy. Between bailing the boat and trying to keep water out of my rain gear, the guys caught a lot of fish. No monsters, but lots of quality fish from 12-15 inches. Stoneflies, eggs and squirrel nymphs were key and as usual, right on the bottom. If you are not hanging the bottom now and then, you are cheating yourself out of fish. Despite the weather, a good day with nice guys.
