The river is getting low for floating, but fishing is still good. Good quantities of smallmouth are being caught mainly on soft plastics in shades of green.
Smaller sizes are still working. The weather heating up has made the morning and evening the best times to fish. On the lower part of the river spotted bass
fishing is good around woody structure.
