Has anyone used an Echo ION rod? I can get the $190. rod for $57. new. Maybe I should buy it just because of the price.

I was casting one of those a couple weeks ago (7wt) and it is a very fast rod, similar to the Scott X2. I found it to be very light in weight and you hardly
feel it load without a fly, but easy to shoot the line. I tried picking up and tossing w/ 50' of line out and then kept adding and didn't have much
trouble, so I think it would be a great one for tossing bass bugs or maybe even shooting larger flies back in the rocks or logs for carp. I thought it was
worth the MSRP price for what you got, so if you can get it cheap go for it. Not a bling rod for sure, but something I wouldn't feel bad about fishing all
day and dragging it with me through the trails.
