Look hard and you can see that Denali - The Great One - (Mt. McKinley) fills the background.

Great report Doug. Outstanding pics. Your Russian river "friends" pics brings back some memories as I've met some "friends" like that
as well.

The Russian was very crowded. I had planned on spending more time there but decided to head north to some places we'd never been. The latest reports are that the fishing on the Russian is hot! I'm no expert but in my limited experience I'd choose September as the month for Boz. The crowds have diminished (no fee to park) and the salmon are just about done spawning. Don't know when we will get to go again. My son is moving to North Carolina to work on his masters degree at Appalachian State. Will be spending significantly more time in AR as I have resigned the church I am now pastoring and will be taking a few months off before we look for anything else.
