Had kind of a slow trip for two days on the King's.
We only caught about 75 fish the first day and it fell off to 45-50 fish the second day. Over 50% were smallmouth with the biggest at 2.25 pounds. We also had over 2 dozen spotted bass and the biggest was 2.5 pounds. Caught Ozark bass, green and longear sunfish and some bluegill. Water was in great shape and the temperature was mid 60's. The weather was perfect and the wind held down. My fishermen were great to be around. Only thing bad was we broke a Sage rod while setting the hook. Tried to make an onstream repair that did not work. Hope it does not void my warranty.
Smallmouth beat those stinky trouts anyday!
