I'm out here working in Charleston and looking for places to fish as things start to warm up. I've gone to the Elk River a couple times and it is a
nice river but I need to look around a bit more. Went to a TU meeting and got a few ideas, but thought I'd see if any of our meembers had ideas too.

Don't know where you are in West Virginia and don't know how much time you have but Bristol Tennesee in the corner of NC & Tennesee has the South Holston and Wautugua(sp) rivers. TVA rivers, tailwaters, lots of miles of trouts.... for what it is worth Johnson City has easy public access on the Wautagua and a lot of fish Chuck |

Try the Cranberry River if it is within reach. I had a great day there many years ago. There is a lot of national forest land... you can hike and fish a good
chunk of river.
