Thanks, John. It has been a few tough months. It appears that some members of the Ozark Forest managemnt staff may in fact be seeing a bit of light about the need to make a serious effort at understanding what is going on in the streams. There are some excellent folks at the universities in Arkansas and surrounding states doing some very good research. It appears that Ozark Forest managers are going to finally consider collaborating with them. We may even start to implement the basics of a sound fish/hydrology program. Nothing fancy, but it could grow into something sound over time. It would be a great thing to see.
