How would we go about finding out when the dam is up for licensing? From what you have said that would be our best negotiating tool. What can we do to effect a change? Is there some chance that even if they have received a new license that we might still have some ability to effect policy on this issue?
There was some sort of decision made several years ago that assures minimum water quality below those dams. SWPA has taken the burden to assure those minimum levels. Are there other sources of funding as well? Could there be some sort of grant available? Maybe even a TU project? Do you have any sort of a guess as to what it might cost?
