I wish I were really comfortable with this, but I'm a skeptic.  Sounds a little like they pulled this out of the Washington verbage can.

I read this -

"As part of President Obama’s America’s Great Outdoors Initiative to
establish a community-driven conservation and recreation agenda for the
21st century, Wednesday’s designation will recognize the innovative
partnerships that are working to conserve the White River across its
watershed from the Ozarks to the Mississippi
. Federal leaders will also
announce a series of new initiatives aimed at supporting the new National
Blueway.

OK, so I read it twice, but what do it mean?  My first impulse is to say they can start by fully funding the hatcheries.  Good for the rivers, good for the economy, and good for the federal tax coffers.  If Washington wants to aid community driven efforts, this would be a good start.  In fairness, I've done no research on this thing yet, but swallowing stuff from the verbage can upsets my stomach and encourages hives.  My allergy to Washingtonspeak is a real nuisance.
