I sometimes wonder if COE ever talks to NOAA or if they even use forecast models in their policy for generation.

In 2007 we knew almost a week in advance that there was going to be a massive front move in that would dump up to 15 inches of rain. COE continued to hold water at the top of the flood pool and had almost zero generation in the days preceding the front. I sometimes wonder if the "only" information they use in formulating release policy is the gauge at Georgetown. It will be interesting to look back in a year at this thread.
