The only slam I've had was right in front of the parking lot at the Norfork dam. It was a few years ago. I guess they had just put some fresh cutts in the river, because I was catching a few of those. Caught some good rainbows and browns. All on a small parachute midge in size 22. It was a really good day. Then I happened to look behind me down stream. There, rising quite regularly, was a nice brookie. He was right behind me, maybe 10-12 feet. I high sticked that little midge dry right to him and he ate it on the first drift. When I got him to hand he was a hair shy of a foot. No big fish that day, but man was it fun. That brookie was in the same spot the next day.

I just want my truck back.
