Hate to hear that also. Reasonable place to stay for some of us poor out of towners. Not on the top of the list of places to stay as far as my daughter was concerned, but it worked great after making a 400+ mile trip on many of my fishing trips there, as well as many of my friends.
I know the recession has alot to do with businesses failing as far as people not being able to afford some of the luxuries they could in years past, but I personally have not been fishing much there in the last 2 years because of the high water. I love to catch fish, but that can be done here at home from my own boat, but you cannot compare that to standing in the water with a trout on the end of your fly line seeing it swimming in that crystal clear water. Maybe soon though.
I hope someone re-opens it and keeps it reasonably priced. I am looking forward to checking out some of the river side accomodations also.
