Clint,
While they were running 5-6 units We were using a Type 4 full sinking line on the 7 wt and a 30' Rio Max shooting head (7" IPS) on a Running line using a 9 wt.
For the leader/tippett connection we used a 8 lb FC Seagar 24-30" long.
Beat the banks and make sure you get right on the bank ! I have been finding the nicer browns on shallow sloping banks with a chunky rock bottom.
