You need to grow a set of arms to fish out of the Clacka or any drifter, yourself

You will hear the ferals on both sides of this argument stating the merits of their respective boat. Ive guided and fished from both

But for the White _ Beaver to Buffalo City fishing by yourself I'd lean towards a riverboat, supreme for me but there are other equally biased persons who will recommend others.

Love the quietness, the fun of rowing, (I'm a clacka fan), but you are on a one way journey, _ downhill and that means shuttles etc.

Hard to row and fish (hence the extra set of arms comment) or you will take buddies and end up rowing all day. But by yourself in much generation you are going to end up rowing from spot to spot to fish.

And having been stuck with upstream wind, falling water and a fair payload, there are times getting home is work.

Riverboats, noisy, have to deal with outboards, gas etc etc.
But they are faster, you are more mobile and for my mind, easier to fish from as you are drifting, just plug them into gear to slow your drift.

I'd still like a drift boat, as a second option to my riverboat. My wife loves the ride, I enjoy rowing, but for fishing myself I'd take the riverboat.

Some thoughts for you anyway
