Yeah, I hear that if a guy thinks he's going to save money by tying his own flies, he's sadly mistaken. I do think there would be a bonus catching a fish on a fly I tied. Also, the little midge Ken hooked me up with on Sunday isn't commercially tied, so I'm either going to have to learn to tie my own or add Moonpies and RC Cola to my list of items to purchase on the monthly trips to Sam's Club.
My dad says he has an old vice somewhere in his attic and said I could have it. Now that it's cooled down enough that the attic shouldn't be terribly hot, I may have to get over there this weekend and try to dig it out.
