Scott: Thanks. I've been watching generation schedules and levels, but that is a new one to me.

Ryan:
When the river level goes farther down you'll have access to holes and such across the river at Parker Bend and upstream and downstream of the Turnaround access. If you like it now, there is better to come. Sounds like you had a great time with Ken. Fantastic. He's a great teacher. I generally start out with size 18 or 20 midges below a tiny indicator 2' to 5' deep, 6X fluorochome tippet on a 9' leader. Changing from nylon tippets to fluorochrome made a big difference. Diamond midge, ruby midge, PT midge and the blue dun/silver midge and usually in that order. BUT, when the fish are hitting on top... soft hackles and / or a nice midge type dry fly pattern add to the fun. Spotting fish and timing presentations followed with a hit are special. For me its a real ..GOTCHA moment.

Take care and wade safely.
