We started off in the C&R area this morning and did okay on a thread midge. Ken tried his UV Scud and caught a decent fish on a CrackleBack. Later in the afternoon (after most of the bait dunkers were gone) we moved down to the area I call the Chute. It's the spot right above the riffles that the water funnels into among the rocks. We both did well there. I hooked a decent fish...4 times... and could only turn him before he threw the hook. I was using a TMC2488 in a size 20 so there's not allot of room for error. The brown thread midge always seems to do good in that area. I'm probably going to have to try a few different style hooks though.....
