Fishing was good and so was the catching. We probably caught a dozen fish each. I got all mine on the brown thread midge. The biggest was a rainbow of about 16". I got a Cutt and some nice browns, too but no brookie for the slam. But when you look at what could have happened, it was pretty insignificant. I have never felt so much pressure on my legs in my life. I did stumble a little and got an arm wet, but that could have and probably should have been worse, too. Thinking back on it, I asked Ken once if he felt the water was rising even just a little. We looked back upstream and saw guys still fishing in the catch and release area so we figured it was okay. I still felt a little leery, especially when I started to notice little clumps of weeds and things go floating by. The lesson I learned from this whole thing is if it doesn't feel right, it probably isn't and it may be time to move out.
