Griff,

Yes l am sure you are rigth about that Griff, but any data related before the dams were built. Were they here then. In my time here I never used to see them as high up on the White as l do now, as far as White hole to date.
And l have not see as many in the past on the Norfork, l would see them manly below the confluence and not often below Calico bridge.

I am sure others will have views of this one, so far as the Norfork is concerned as l do guide mainly on the 100 miles of the White Griff.

I did check up about these guys, and there are a number of species known in freshwater systems here in the US. Some of them are only found in certain river systems, other species are more widely spread.
There are both non and parasitic species, we have the worst type.

Next time l get one l will send it off for species ID.
