Steve,

This is 05 numbers.

Kelly ford to Blair
Bows.....517
Browns...48

Patrick to PP
Bows.....118
Browns..387. Total 1007

What we should have seen ideally was a rise in Bow numbers.
What we have is a decline from last year.
Brown trout are increasing at least below Patrick

I do have also the size percentages of fish captured.
Very few Bows over 18
Browns 18 and over 45 This for 06 year.

Growth rates also indicate loss of larger fish and more 2nd year fish.

Kyle,

There is no doubt that they do spawn in that river, there is no reason why they could not, as it has ideal habitat for them to do so.

It may also be that the otters are responsible for losses. Wish they would eat suckers, way too many in that river.

I will do some more addition here and give you some more data.

I would say that for you to do a project on that river would be a great idea.
It is more or less a contained enviroment there and a overall length that you should be able to deal with, unlike the White river.

So far as l am aware of there is no incidence of pollution in that system as it is a very fragile enviroment. It would take little to screw that up.
I know that the high flood water at times there has to be detremental in some ways if it takes place at the wrong time of the year.

I will be up there fishing this month for sure.

Davy.
