I believe that I fished just downstream from one of your clients. It was my first time on that part of the river. You told me what the water looked like way on downstream. If that was you thank you very much, as I wore the fish out down there on the bedrock side of the island. At first I caught them on a #16 beadhead green caddis pupa, then caught a bunch on a blue copper john and some (in the faster, and deeper parts) on a #12 beadhead and weighted GRHE. The real fun was as it started to get dark, I put on a streamer that I tie:smokin . It is a #8 hook, lead eyes, gummy minnow body (looks like a zonker), rabbit strip, and a little puff of red marabou for a throat. Every piece of water that looked good yeilded a fish. I covered a lot of water and caught lots of fish in the 16in. range, with a few over that. Thanks alot!! Hopefully I'll see you on the water again!
