Ryan,

The first piece of advice l am going to give you is to obtain the information sheet that relates to how long it takes for generation to reach given zones, it is not 100% perfect but is close enough for you to be aware when new water rise will arrive.
Or at least make sure you are aware of what is going on that day.

BSD, zone differs in so much as you will hear the horn when they are going to let loose.
Wading out to islands is well ok if there is no water due to arrive, but not a good idea if you area not aware that it is.
Many visitors here get caught out on that one.

You have some info here from the others guys. BSD zone is very unlike the rest of the river, here at low water midges are the main deal, so need here to be able to fish small and fine.
If they are running a high water it provides very limited fishing, a low cfs rate of 1 to 2 units will allow you some resonable access here.

Wildcat shoals, Roundhouse and Rim, are zones that the fish area little easier to catch as here they are rarely tuned in and selective as they are at BSD.

In these zones you have many options so far as how you choose to fish be it , nymph, wets, soft hackles, dry and streamers.

For the best part the fish here in the White are bottom feeders, with the few exceptions when we have caddis, mayfly and midge hatches.
