John, we nailed a few good fish the past two days with flies of that nature.
Orange can be a killer fly for Browns no doubt of that. In fact a fly called the Dunkeld is one of my all time favorites for Browns, lake or river, and l do haved a orange Dynamite prism worm that also can produce the fish of the day, to day in fact it was the red version.
