The newest one was a proto type that is to be a "Kids Rod" I LIKED this rod. Red with a Red reelseat. What I liked about is was the CASTING, They will be 2 pc. 7-ft 4/5 and 8-ft 5/6 I think. It would cast with just one rod length or 40 ft of line out of the tip. This might be my next small stream rod. Tough and easy to cast. I just did some digging and found an old e-mail I got from Rick Pope from TFO about the glass rod. TFO used a "special unidirectional lay-up" rather than a traditional weave of glass filaments. He said that gives a lighter blank for a given amount of power.
