			<description><![CDATA[ Waking up early to the sound of rain was not a good omen, but I managed to let the killer Yorkies out for their morning lawn watering and fertilization along
with the newets edition to the family - Maggie, the ear-draggin&#39;-the-ground Basset. I took a look at the radar while having my first cup of coffee. I
decided there was time to fix a little breakfast and relax before heading out. Lightening is not my favorite fishing partner.

			<description><![CDATA[ I think it was Fly Fisherman, could have been Fly Rod and Reel.  There was a high school girl that caught a 15.9 lb brown.  The fish looked rediculous!  I
think it was something like 29 inches long and 26 inch girth.  A true pig.  It was just a short little feature but she was sight fishing in maybe this past
fall or winter. ]]></description>

			<title><![CDATA[ Weekend Taney report ]]></title>

			<description><![CDATA[ I hit Taneycomo a couple of times this weekend, and the fishing was pretty good.  Got down Saturday just before it started raining around 10am.  Tried a couple
of streamers, but noticed a lot of midging going on, so switched to a nymph.  The trick was to keep it shallow.  I was fishing 30 inches below my indicator and
not doing to well, when I made a couple of really long casts and my indicator moved down to the 16 inch mark.  BAM!!  And then another... and another.  Every
other cast resulted... ]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[ Hey guys and gals!!   When I was down fishing the White River last weekend one of the guides told us that fishing the lakes there was not easy unless you
fished them all the time.  That a person who didn&#39;t fish the lake all the time wouldn&#39;t have much luck catching any fish.  Well, on my way home from
White River we stopped to visit some friends of the family who live a few miles from Taneycomo.  Now I want to check this lake out.

			<description><![CDATA[ Sometime this year I will visiting Taneycomo with family.  I love to wade fish but don&#39;t know if Taney has much to offer in this realm.  The pictures I
find and the forums I read seem to indicate that Taney is more boat friendly than wadeable.  Boats are fine, and easy to rent, but what methods for flyfishing
from a boat work on this awesome body of water?  Is it mainly deep water presentations?  Is the water clear?  Several times Tim from Tim&#39;s Fly at Roaring

			<title><![CDATA[ Flood Gates Open ]]></title>

			<description><![CDATA[ Flood gates opened Friday afternoon around 2:00. The Corps is limiting powerhouse generation to about 8,000 cfs because of low DO and making up the difference
of a total of 15,000 cfs with spillway releases which will raise water temperature. So it may be interesting to follow along and see the effect.
